8:32amThe small pile of concrete sits just about in front where the loading docks were for Fannie May. I believe there were five bays where the semi's would load up on candies. I always wanted to get a shot of the loading docks as I felt they had somewhat of a majestic presence on Van Buren but I never got the picture. Life is similar to photography in that way.

March 28, 2008. Friday 1:07 pm As I'm setting up for the shot, I see a man walking across the Hubbard St Dance roof in the foreground and I don't see the Fannie May sign being dismantled in the northeast corner of the lot. I didn't get there in time to shoot the sign before it hit the ground.
